| General Doodle Rules of Travel Please be aware that as the weather gets warmer, there is more melting snow in some areas: mud - bring a towel for car travel, your dog gets thirsty: bring water, your dog gets hungry: bring a snack, and always keep your doodle in control either by voice command, on a leash in crowded areas and where off-leash is prohibited, and always keep him/her in sight. |

| Directions to Bayou Gulch Regional Park: Take Hwy 83 south of Parker to Bayou Gulch Road, travel east one mile and turn north on Fox Sparrow Road. | Directions to Stapleton Park off-leash dog area in Denver: Montview Blvd & Syracuse Street, I-70 East to Quebec Street exit 278, turn south, go about 15 blocks to Montview Blvd, turn left/east, go four blocks to Syracuse and turn left/north. | Directions to Chatfield Reservoir: Take C-470 to Wadsworth exit. Go south, the park entrance is 1.5 miles on your left. If you do not have a Colo State Parks pass, admission is $5.00. After you go through the ticket booth, proceed down the road. At the stop sign, turn left (towards the dam). Follow the road to the top of the dam and turn left again. This road will take you down a hill. There are two parking lots to the off-leash area. The first parking lot on the left is where we meet (there are also public restrooms). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Directions to Dry Creek Trailhead: Take Hwy 36 (Boulder Turnpike) north to the Louisville/Superior exit which is McCaslin Blvd. Go North on McCaslin until it ends at South Boulder Road. Turn left (west) on South Boulder Road. Go about 1/2 mile. Turn right at the first stoplight which is 76th Street. Go .9 mi to Baseline Road. Turn left on Baseline. The open space is about .8 miles on the left just past Mallard Pond Drive. Park in the parking lot and enter the open space - it is all fenced in. Annual Pass required for pets $18.00 each - contact Parks Dept first. Please keep your doodle on a leash in the parking lot and until you get at least 100 yards past the gate where the actual trail starts.
